My College Algebra students are great, but their abilities are all over the place, how I've found procedures that help them all work in generally similar pace:

    I would love it if my daughter's math teacher would implement the 9, 6, 3. There would be less tears at night, and she would get a lot more quality work. :) It should be quality over quantity.
